I am going to start rolling out previews of the songs from the new CD, which will be available on Friday January 23, 2015. Here is the first one, called 'Silver." This one is dedicated to my wife, as the tune is about growing old together! This is the one song on the CD where I wrote the words but not the music - it was drummer Dave's music, so the chords are very unusual (he admittedly is not a guitar player). But it for sure gave the tune a feel I never would have come up with. The epic synth solo at the tail end is Portland's Asher Fulero, who also plays keyboards in my Pink Floyd tribute band, The Floydian Slips and is a seriously talented mo-fo. Look him up.
